Overview

This article describes any special resources or permissions for deleting messages in Onyx Messenger and guides on how to delete the messages.

Prerequisites

• Onyx version 7.8

Information

The UI:OEP.messenger.delete UI security resource is required to allow the granted user to delete Messenger messages. This is outlined in the attached Onyx 7.8 OEP Administration Guide (Page 3-137).

To delete a message in the UI, check the boxes in the far left column of the message list corresponding to the messages you would like to delete, and click on the 'X' icon to delete them.
